March 2020: Volume 11 No 1

This is the tenth year in the online life of this magazine. Much has come and gone in that decade including, sadly, many friends and colleagues. We have seen automotive events come and go. And we've seen some grow and flourish. Automotive art is... I think... generally speaking in a good place with some long-established artists doing well but as with any growing field, it is becoming increasingly difficult for new talent to establish.
It has been said that "ten years of anything is enough" and so it is time for me to move on and it is my intent to wind down this publication by the end of the year. It has been a nice ride and I'd like to keep it that way. An Update issue is planned for June with a full issue in September and Update in December. Thank you to our advertisers for their long-standing support and of course thanks to you, the readers...

After a number of delays in assembling the material, the long-planned retrospective look at Bill Motta's work has unfortunately turned into a "look back" with his passing in late January. I note a sad coincidence in that we announced the passing of his wife Margit exactly 5 years ago in the April 2015 issue.
Both will long be missed. »William A Motta

Continuing our practice of archiving past issues for a rolling five years, the April 2015 issue has now been removed. The usual reminder: Our almost constant change in layouts to accommodate ever-changing screens has resulted in the removal of early artist feature stories. We have reformatted and relaunched a number of these from the earliest and now deleted editions... take a look here: »Archived Artist Stories Index and archived back issues here: »Archived Issues Index
